Studio Etiquette
At The Pilates Club we want everyone to have a positive and safe experience whilst enjoying their workout, here are a couple of pointers we would ask all members to be mindful of:
Arrive 5 minutes before your session, this allows adequate time to check in and for mental readiness for your class. Classes start on time; please don’t be late. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will not be able to join the session and will lose the credit for the class.
First timers will need to allow some extra time to complete a PAR-Q form.
Please switch your phone to silent upon entry, no calls are to be taken during class. If you need to take a call in case of an emergency, please step outside the studio to do so.
If you should arrive early whilst the previous class is still in their cooldown phase, please respect their peace by waiting in the lounge area, the instructor will let you into the studio space once they are ready.
No shoes to be worn in the studio, please remove them upon entry and leave them in the designated cubby spaces in The Locker Room.
All valuables should be locked away in the lockers provided; we do not accept responsibility for anyone’s possessions.
Grip socks must be worn in all classes; we have a variety of styles available to buy at the studio should you forget yours.
Stay hydrated, don’t forget to bring your water bottles. Please note we don’t allow any food in the studio though.
If you are doing one of our infrared hot classes, please remember to bring a hand towel with you. Should you forget yours, we have some available to purchase.
No filming or recording during any session. Please feel free to take a photo either before, or at the end of the session, make sure you tag us in @thepilatesclub.studio
Be courteous and mindful of your fellow clients; respect their peace and space.
Keep the floor space around the mats clear and free of any hazards, placing any essential personal items at the top of your mat where you can see them.
Once your class has finished, please make sure you clean your mat and any props, then tidy them away, and drop the used cloth in the laundry bin.
If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend, particularly if you have something contagious like Covid.
